Here for sale in El Paso,Texas is this really rare 1965 Chevrolet suburban !!! This classic beauty is extremely hard to find,and it turns heads everywhere i go. It is powered by a straight 6 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual (granny tranny) or "compound" transmission. It has a new clutch, New drive line with new ujoints, New rear shocks, nice polished aluminum wheels and a brand new gas tank complete (still in the box) that goes with it. This is a running and driving PROJECT. If you are looking for a fully restored vehicle,then this is NOT for you. A PROJECT CAR still needs work and cannot be driven all across the country like a new car. If you understand what this means,then lets continue !!! I would really like to put a v8 engine and an automatic transmission in it and get rid of that old set up it has. ( I love hot rods) Unfortunately, I have to sell it. This is great news for you !!! This suburban is well over 40 years old, so you can expect the floors to be a bit rusty like most trucks this year.(please look at the pictures) However,it is really mostly complete and runs,drives and stops. It has working headlights,tail lights and a working horn. All of the glass is complete. The passenger side vent glass was replaced with plexiglass and would need to be replaced. This suburban deserves to be taken to the next level,and restored into a great hot rod or fine classic truck. I personally am not a big fan of those old noisy 4 speed compound transmissions like the one it has,but again that is up to YOU how you want to restore this beautiful classic!!!
