This is a Great running and very limited production vehicle with low miles for a 99 (130K ) Very unique and ahead of it's time sporty SUV that gets loads of attention. These have been going up, not down in value over the last couple years. Not many left and it seems that you either find some for a little less money that are high mileage and a bit rough or the nicer ones that people are asking round double my price..... If you want to put one in your garage and not drive in the winter (That's what these are built for!) I would say buy one for 10 - 12 - or 15K and watch it go up in value. If you think cheaper is always better then buy one for a thousand or so less and get less and spend money and time working on it. Runs and drives great . Adult owned, non smoker vehicle... I take very good care of my vehicles and The previous owners of this Vehicross obviously have too judging by the condition and they even had the glass etched with classic car VIN numbers!. I have owned it for a few years and have only put around 2500 miles on it because I have 5 other vehicles on the road that I also love. . My only reason for selling is that I have taken the plates and insurance off this summer and really don't have the room to store it and don't want the expense of insuring 6 vehicles for 2 drivers. I upgraded the stereo system with a Clarion USB DVD head unit as well as new amp & speakers Rockford Fosgate EQ ,etc..to replace the week and dated factory unit. I recently replaced the muffler with a Magnaflow turbo. It's a little loud but sounds good. Brakes are all good. No ABS light (very common issue on these). Brand new wheels and tires. New battery... Many new parts and money spent! Power windows , locks, etc.. all work well. Transmission and 4WD work great, as they should. Very nice and clean interior. Very good body and paint condition! Doesn't burn oil or leak anything and appears to have new belts, hoses etc.. like a well maintained vehicle but I do not know any specific service history on it. So.. What Does it Need?? 1. The A/C was ice cold last summer but not working now.2. Has a check engine light sometimes but is out now since I changed the battery, I forget what the code was but it was emissions related (something about fuel vapor?) but it does not affect the way it runs at all. Comes and goes sometimes so it may come back. Keep in mind that It is 17 years old and really does run and drive well but it is a northern vehicle and does not spend it's entire life in the garage. With that being said.... It really is in better than average condition and other than very minor cosmetic imperfections as well as the usual underneath surface rust, minor wear from normal use etc.. Of a 17 year old 4x4. It looks sharp and gets many compliments. Leather seats , carpet and interior are also in very good condition. ...Nice straight body . A Very dependable and nice driver!! It had light damage to the right front corner when I Bought it. Not severe at all but since it was on the front corner it affected the fender, headlight, edge of hood and bumper cover. Never touched the frame or bumper reinforcement but they foolishly did damage to the grill (that had not been damaged) as well as damage to the front of the hood because the hood release was stuck and they just started destroying things to get it opened. At this point it needed parts that are expensive and very hard to find, that is the only severity of damage (expensive parts). Excellent condition from a low mileage donor were used and the hood and fender were replaced and painted. all other paint is original. Minor damage Professionally repaired. The previous owner slid on ice in his driveway at very low speed and bumped into the foundation of his barn. Check the pictures! Zoom in. Very nice Vehicross. If you go WAY back and check my feedback (17 YEARS ON EBAY) I have sold a few cars over the years I only buy or sell Very Nice! And special cars for my private use. I am not a dealer or some guy trying to buy a car and patch it up and make a quick buck on a piece of junk. I am a 55 year old Non - Smoker. Not a kid that beats on his cars and doesn't take care of them. I feel that it is priced very fairly considering condition and mileage so lets not waste time with ridiculous low offers. I won't even respond. Be reasonable. I don't need money!~!! I have the stock wheels with decent tires that I could put on it and take $500 off the price.
