Vehicle Detail
Please Read before Bidding: The SUV is great overall condition, very well maintained, Always serviced on time and with quality components. I drove this for many years into work (far west suburbs of Chicago into Chicago Burbs) about 150miles a day. So most of the miles are highway miles. But because I drove so many miles everyday, I always kept it in super running condition. I am also work in sales, so often I would drive to a customers site, along with taking the customer out of lunch or dinner. So the interior condition was also a major item to keep in top condition. We were the second owner, and much of its life. You will also see it was a fleet vehicle, which in my book is also key. It was given the proper attention and care when it was required (or not). For the last few years it has been seeing less travel and wear. I now work from my home office and also have a second smaller in-town car I use when not going to see customers. You will see from the photos, its still in top condition. I still use it to visit customers and take them out in it. I am still quite proud of this truck. We just no longer need such a big SUV, was great when the kids where young. But my son is off to school and my daughter wanted something smaller. This will seat 7 comfortably. With the third row seats. It has the Tow package as well. It has been upgraded with a Viper Remote Start with Key fob, you can control this remote start from your phone. But that requires a service charge through Viper (we have not used the cell phone start, well never, other to show someone. but we use the key fob remote start all the time. Very nice) I have also upgraded the stereo system to a JVC DVD touch screen system with back up camera (not yet completely hooked up, you will need to mount the camera, nearly all of the wiring has been run.) I will supply the stock 6 CD stereo with the sale. All of the wiring is completely reversible, all done with quick disconnects. It also has a micro USB connection/charger (built in) I also installed a USB & 3.5 Port in the center arm glove box. I put on a set of 4 new tires this last year (they may have seen 8k or less). I also did new brakes and rotors on all four as well. Cross Drilled and Slotted performance rotors with ceramic pads. The paint is bright and clean, very little show of its age. Very little issue with paint chips or scratches, a few around drivers door, but minor. It does have the oxidation in all the Navigators common areas. The rear tail gate and under the doors. There is a bad spot at the front of the driver doors inside jam, very hard to see. I have touched it up, and used materials to stop the oxidation. Just a poor design there, they left access holes in the frame that when into the lower part of the door jams that let water just sit in there. Its like this on all Navigators of this style, only difference is if you see it or not. Does not hurt the truck as it has a frame, and you can not see it. All the buttons and parts function as they should. I have the Truck listed locally, so I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time. My reserve is below market value, and is very very fair. I have invested over $2000 in the tires, brakes and rotors as well as a new U joint and sway bar stab links. I have also had the Shop give a look over for any mechanical issues, they gave it a thumbs up. The addition of the Remote start and Stereo would also increase the value another $1500 ($750 and $750) so to put my reserve in at what KBB would be with out these upgrades is quite good. Over all it does have the high miles but the truck does not look it or drive like it. To be honest, I would like to keep it and just may if the sale price does not happen. I know the miles is hurting the sale. But I am very happy with it and willing to keep it for another 100K. Winning bidder is responsible for shipping. I will do what I can to assist. I will also ask (require) the winning bidder to pay a $250 deposit immediately at the end of the auction. This is because I do have the truck listed locally. Full payment is due within a few days after the end (we can work that out). Thanks For Looking, if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Any one who wishes to get additional photos please include your cell number so I can send you them directly. Thanks Again Eric Oh, just wanted to add, the previous owner as fleet was as a Manufacturer Vehicle, Lincoln Salesman. Then as I understand it, it was with a workers Union as a Fleet Vehicle. So we were the first to own it as a private owner. So always well taken care of. On Sep-22-16 at 18:14:57 PDT, seller added the following information: So we have had a lot of interest in the Navigator, both here on Ebay and Locally. And everyone seems to be in the same ballpark for offer requests. Which has been a bit lower than my buy-it now price. In light of this I have decided to reduce both my Buy-It-Now and Reserve Price. I have also done this locally, so first come first serve. Thanks EricOn Sep-23-16 at 04:56:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Thank you for your offers, I have had many offers over the $3000 mark and a few at and near the $3750 mark. I just felt I would make is so any "tire kickers" had to put your money where you mouth is, sort of say. lol I really do not like to think of selling the truck at the $3750, but I know it will just sit here and waste away. I also do not need to sell it, I think that is important for you to know. Really for any low ball offers. Besides I would keep it. I just put roughly $1500 in tires, $800 in rotors and brakes, $150 new U joint, $50 in a new Idler pulley, $80 in Stab Links, $80 Oil and Service. So $2700 in keeping the car in tip top shape. Not that it makes the car worth that extra, it does however make it worth the proper value of the car, according to KBB $4500. and to say the car was only worth $300 before that is just insane. So any offers under $3000 really make that, well insane, lol. But I am a deal hunter to, so I can appreciate the effort. Just not going to work on this sale. Sorry but if I wanted to give it away, I would do so to family or friends. The car/truck is in great shape, much better then many with fewer miles, much better then many that are years newer. I can understand the mileage being a cause for alarm and concern. But all I can say is this truck is in outstanding condition and in great mechanical order. Its well worth the $4500, all day long. My new pricing at $3750 I now listed is beyond fair, actually it does not make me too happy, but that's the way sales are sometimes. If you are looking for a Navigator in this body style, these years and this price point, I do not believe you will find many better. And really at this price point I can almost guarantee it. Actually if you can, let me know, I am an honest and resalable person (why I felt it was fair to lower my Buy-it-Now and Reserve price, Estimated Value is not always a reflection of market price). I really hated lowing my price, I would love to keep it. And I am sure I will have sellers remorse many times over the next year about selling it. It is a great truck, runs strong, rides smooth, has all the modern conveniences. The remote start is so nice on the cold days. Hands free Bluetooth, DVD player (dash) Heck just these two additions would cost over $1000 (retail cost), and then to install it or have it installed. And all is done professionally, very clean and very restorable (you will get the original 6 disc in-dash radio, works great. heck it sells on here for around $200 used). It also comes with a back-up camera, nearly 100% wired in, just need to mount the camera. I will do that but not at this current selling price (I had planned on finishing it, when I originally listed it, but with the offers I received. just does not make it worth the time). I do have all the wires from the head unit to the rear run under the under the flooring and interior panels. I just stopped, when I was trying to decide to either run it up into the lift gate or down near the bumper. If you are serous, and are close, I would really suggest you come and see it. You will be very pleasantly surprised. I (we) have loved this truck and it shows. I am quite proud of it. I am in sales in a manufacturing business, and I have always needed to have a nice vehicle to have my customers and or coworkers ride with me. in fact, not to long ago, I had my president and vice president with me for a 4hr road trip (each way) to Michigan from Chicago to visit a customer. By my VPs request, he wanted to evaluate Lincolns work really. He had a Range Rover, which I now own. And I can tell you, the ride in this Navigator is still better then my Rover. By the way, he did buy his wife a new Navigator. (for the trip, we had four adult males, and about 700lbs of tooling on a small pallet in the back. talk about doing it all.) It does have the third row seating, and a heavy duty OEM liner for when you do have the rear seats down for the added cargo space. Now I will also tell you, this is a 12yr old truck, and it does not look like it just came off the showroom floor. It does have little condition issues, but it does not look its age or mileage. But it looks very good, so much so that if you do nothing at all it will still look good. and if you have the skills and desire, you could have this truck looking outstanding without much time and effort. (I had been thinking of painting the wheels a dark, gun metal gray. Quick and easy with only a small investment.) Please note, I will not be available Monday the 26th and the morning of the 27th. I will be traveling for work. I maybe able to respond to questions late on the 26th, but more then likely it will have to wait until Tuesday afternoon. Sorry Well good luck, Thanks again for taking your time and looking, EricOn Sep-25-16 at 03:28:40 PDT, seller added the following information: I will be away from home Monday the 26th thur lateTuesday the 27th. I will be traveling for work and will not be able to check messages. Not what I hoped for, but work happens. I have lowered the buy-it-now price, just incase that helps anyone out pulling the trigger this Sunday. Please note I do have three couples planning to come and see the truck today (Sunday 25th). So if you are interested please feel free to pull the trigger sooner than later. I will have to give the priority to those who are here in person. (two are from local listings, one is from Ebay). I would hate to disappoint anyone, Ive been in your shoes. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me asap. 815-766-1490 voice or text. Thanks again Eric
