I ride the mountains every weekend and have to say that I've never been passed by another biker. . .I suppose there was that one time, two Ducatis, a 748 and a 999 riding together. And, that holds true when I'm riding two-up with my daughter. The suspension on this thing is phenomenal, it holds an incredibly solid line in deep turns. As to the touring, early in the summer I rode to San Diego from Denver. Left on a Friday late afternoon and returned on a Monday evening....And, I'm old and 6'5". It's a sportier and faster version of an FJR1300, Triumph Trophy, and Kawasaki Concours. Also, note that the 2007s don't have the second gear gearbox issues that the 2006s have. I live near Denver...this is a great place to fly and then ride back home. I'm happy to pick you up at the airport and get you to the bike.
