Up for sale is a 2000 Ford F-450 with the 7.3 Diesel and a flatbed dump. The truck starts and runs strong. It has a freshly rebuilt transmission and a freshly rebuilt front and rear end. The bad - The truck was a former snow plow and salting truck and has now sat for a few years. It has significant rust damage. The pictures shown in this ad are old and do not show the current body condition. The dump bed is completely rusted off and is not usable. The exhaust system, fuel tank, multiple lines, and oil pan all have rust issues and need replacing. The cab of the truck is mostly ok, but there is major rust at the bottom of the door openings. I started to restore it, but just do not need this truck anymore so it is time to let it go. It probably is best served as a parts truck at this point as the engine, transmission, axles, tires, and all that are in good shape. As stated, it does start no problem and can be loaded onto a trailer, but it is not driveable long distance due to major rust issues.
