Vehicle Detail

I am the second owner of this car, and I have had the car for 8 years. The first owner always had the car serviced by the Cadillac dealer. I have pampered the car since owning it, and as an HT4100 Cadillac enthusiast, I know all about the care and feeding of the HT4100 engine. The car has had oil changes every three months (10W30 Full Synthetic High Mileage) and radiator flushes every two years, complete with the sealant tablets. I have never had any problems with the engine, and it runs smooth and quiet (although, for those of you unfamiliar with these engines, they have very leisurely accelleration). However, the car is NOT a show car. It has been driven on a regular basis, which I think may account for how good it runs. Car has just over 127,000 miles. I will try to give you a good overall assessment of the car: Everything works, including:Power windowsPower mirrorsPower door locks (although the solenoid for the driver's door lock seems a little week and doesn't always lock and unlock the door).Power seatsTwilight SentinelCruise ControlIntermittent wipers and windshield washerClimate control (heating and air conditioning all work)Radio (except cassette tape player does not work)Power Antenna (recently replaced)Trunk pulldownRecent work on the car:New front brakes and rotorsNew rear air shocks with the level controlJust had oil changed and radiator flushed and filled with new antifreeze with the sealant tabs. The original lighted vanity mirror sun visors would not stay up, and could not be repaired, so they were replaced with normal sunvisors, with material which matches the headlinerThe headliner was replaced a couple years agoThe plastic body fillers were just replaced a year ago.All belts were replaced a few months ago.Transmission was rebuilt about 5 years ago, and is very smooth.Problems:The undercarriage of the car is becoming very rusty. There is a little bit of rust around the front wheel wells (see photos). The car did not have the original floor mats when I bought it. I purchased after-market floor mats, which are showing wear. The car could use new tires.I am selling the car because I recently acquired another 1985 Seville which is a rust-free California car. Please feel free to ask me any questions you can think of if you are interested in this car. As I mentioned, the car is driven regularly, so I would have no hesitation about driving it a long distance. The fluids are clean and it is ready to go!
