Vehicle Detail

33 yrs old and strong. runs great. yes needs some work with carpet, seats and paint, cosmetics.... drive-train and engine all original and strong running most excellent. needs paint. cranks right up and just inspected. I'd drive this truck anywhere. motor and tranny no let-downs, strong pulling 4X4 no issues. no rust bed. good condition for year all around. very good cond for year. has factory air needs charging maybe repair. Gauges, original digital clock still works! No leaks and new timing belt installed a year ago! electric windows need fixing. window motors work but I guess regulators need replaced is what someone told me. Last year new timing belt put in. Runs great! All receipts since from 2006 when I bought this truck. I have about $10K invested at leastOn Aug-09-16 at 04:49:30 PDT, seller added the following information: I have owned the Jeep since 2009, I accidentally typed 2006 above. This Jeep dives nice and straight w/ no steering-wheel bounce or shake. All lights work. The ONLY interior rattle while driving is the back window which rattles a little in the window-frame. Also, the previous owner mounted the JK front bumper which is an awesome addition in my opinion. The rear bumper is the original 1983 bumper and the plastic end-caps have broken off; I was going to add a JK rear bumper to this Jeep to match the front. I was going thru some of the receipts. Here's most of what we've replaced, and have receipts for; timing gear 2012oil pan and trany-pan gaskets 2012water pump 2012Mallory distributor 2012aluminum transmission lines 2011heater core and new electric fan mounted onto front of radiator for off-roading 2011new valve-cover gaskets 2011new radiator 2011fuel tank level sensor 2010battery 850cca 2016starter 2012changed all differential and transfer case oil in 2011 and in 2014tach and gauges added 2012ac adapter to fit new-style ac charging systems 2013 (2 summers ago the ac worked great! last summer the air did not, may have leaks in the ac lines or may just need recharging, compressor turns noise-free)air shocks (heavy-duty)with 2 separate lines for front and back adjustments 2010winch w/heavy-duty welded winch mount 2010alternator 2011holly 650 2012flywheel 2010I have receipts for all of the above, and more that was done but not listed here. On Aug-10-16 at 04:51:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Can you please post pics of the floorboards and seat? yes, I can do that later today after I get off from work (Wed). Look for pics about 6 or so ESTime. The floorbds are in great shape but the non-original carpet is worn out under the driver's heel. The seat's springs (as far as sitting on it ) and moving functions (sliding forward and moving the seat-back forward) are very good, but there is a vinyl seam rip under the driver's butt area. The vinyl on the seat is still all original, and looks real good except the seam separation under the driver's rear end area.On Aug-10-16 at 08:00:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Brakes were redone last summer, and there are 3 half-tread GREAT Dick Cepek tires mounted. Unfortunately the fourth tire does not match, but it is a decent tire. There is a coating of the Rhino bed protector sprayed in the bed, The tailgate works great too!On Aug-10-16 at 08:33:21 PDT, seller added the following information: More answers to your questions! The Jeep STILL has its full-functioning shoulder-seat-belts on both driver and passenger sides. NOTE, I mentioned above that the only rattle while driving the Jeep is the "rear window in its frame"...this was not explained well on my part...the back window as a whole, is fine! There are no issues at all with the big rear window in its frame and it is tight to the truck!!! What rattles is the little 2 piece middle back window that opens up! It's just that the felt strips which line the glass between the its frame in the little window are completely worn out after 33 years. I just now took a little piece of felt insulation strip and stuck it in the bottom of the little opening-window frame, between the frame and the sliding glass section, and now it does not rattle at all...so it's just the little bay window frame that needs some felt insulation inserted. Yes, this is a tilt-wheel model and the tilt wheel works perfectly. The winch is a 8500lb pull Smitybuilt winch and the mount for it is a steel plate, heavy duty fat-weld-to the truck frame mount; the winch is NOT mounted to the bumper but of course it sits on top of the front bumper. Also, I will include a large capacity floor mount jack, in carrying case, that is stowed behind the seat, and the original tire-cross-bar lugnut remover is still behind the seat after all these years! This is a great truck for the cash outlay...don't let it get away!!! These trucks are few and far between in this good of condition without rust all over and tore up beds!
