The car was completely stripped down, and painstakingly reassembled over sever years by a meticulous craftsman who focused the smallest details. The fire engine red paint is seems as though it hasnt dried, and the body is unbelievably straight! The black racing stripes were perfectly laid, and they add an aggressive touch to the appearance of this work of art. Most of the sheet metal was replaced, so you wont have to worry about rust or clumps of bondo ruining this beauty. The black interior is so nice that it looks like it just rolled off the assembly line in Kansas City. This Chevelle looks like a Mona Lisa, but when you fire it up, you quickly realize that it is downright nasty, and that Mean-O-Lisa is probably a more appropriate name for it! The sound of the massive 496 big block engine makes it crystal clear to anyone within earshot that this car means business. The thumping idle from the big cam will send chills down the spine of any red-blooded American around. The engine was built less than 100 miles ago, and it was assembled using only the best parts. This balanced/blueprinted 496 has all the good stuff, including Scat forged internals, ported/polished Dart heads, Harland Sharp roller rockers, ARP bolts, Hooker headers, MSD ignition, and a big Holley 850 carburetor. It has an electric fuel pump, electric fans, and an overbuilt transmission/rear end setup that is rated to hold well over 1,000 horsepower. Everything functions as it should, so you wont find any problems or issues. This Chevelle SS was built to DRIVE to car shows, but you might need a trailer to hold all of the trophies it rakes in. Restorations this nice dont come along every day, so we dont expect this car to last long.
