Listing a pre-owned 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. This is a rare example of a VERY well cared for and tastefully modded C63 AMG. 5 year all-inclusive warranty was purchased with the vehicle, and is transferable to the new owner. There is a $50 fee for the transfer of the policy, which the buyer pays.The warranty expires April 21st, 2021. You go directly to MB Dealerships for service through this warranty. I have uploaded images of the original listing from the dealership where I purchased it from. The only difference is the new Carbon Fiber rear diffuser and black taillight accent pieces, and new OEM "C63" and "///AMG" trunk emblems/badges in Black. No other body mods were done. For the engine, the only modification was an ECU tune, that is fully reversible (not sure why you would! Useful for any dealership visits, though). It is a Eurocharged tune, and a handheld tuner is included with the car. You will receive the stock ECU firmware, and also the tuned version. You can freely run either one with a 1 minute scan on the OBD2 port. I can give you the details on that and also the relevant emails to contact for any support if/when needed if you decide to revert to stock, or re-tune it later after more modifications. This tune will not show up at the dealer, because it does not erase the ECU rom. The handheld, tune files and its original box are included with the auction as well. This tune does many things, among them removing the rev limiter, top speed limiter, and rev matches are now more vulgar on downshifts. It crackles and pops like crazy in Sport and Manual modes. In C comfort mode, it's actually quite civilized. Gets 19-21mpg in C mode, and in Sport or Manual it will average 15-17 unless you step on it. I installed a Pedalbox PD-3704 throttle response adapter. This made a massive difference in the feel of the gas pedal. It can be adjusted from stock to sport, with 3 different settings, and 3 sub-settings for each of the main 3 settings. Go to Pedalbox's website for more info. The original box and manual for the Pedalbox are included. The last modification I did was some exhaust mods. I DO HAVE all of the original parts! The secondary catalytic converter was removed and replaced with straight stainless steel pipes. The resonator was replaced with a Eurocharged X-pipe. There is no droning of any kind, it sounds magnificent inside and out. It's not outrageously loud, but it's very aggressive and commands attention (trust me on this, this car gets CRAZY attention, it's actually a little disturbing..). When I first took delivery of the car, I was a little nervous because of the miles on it (139k at the time of delivery), but I was astounded at how clean it was, and how well it ran. There was literally not a single thing wrong with it. I couldn't believe how clean the underneath was, and still is. Inside and out, it is insanely clean and like new. You will only believe this when you see it yourself. And It runs as good as it looks. According to MB USA and the Carfax, an Indian Doctor owned it from 2008-2014. This car stayed in California (no salt, no snow, ever) its entire life, only coming up to Illinois in 2016 (when I bought it). It was sold and offered up for auction from 2014 until the day I bought it in 2016. Which explains why it was driven only 2,000 miles in a 2 year time frame, 2014-2016. Anyone who knows anything about AMGs, especially 63-series AMGs, knows that they are well built, and incredibly stable engines. These N/A V8's are special, and unique. The mileage worried me, but it never scared me. It now has 144,091 miles, and looks and performs just as it did when I first got it, if not better. I am only selling it due to other financial obligations. It pains me to sell it, but I have no choice at this point. Terms:There is a lien on the vehicle through Wells Fargo. I recently sold a 2006 CLS55 on eBay in January that also had a lien on it with no problems at all. The process is such that payment must be received prior to delivery of the vehicle, nothing crazy there. But the catch is that there is up to a 2 week delay to receive the title back from Wells Fargo. The C63 can and will be delivered or picked up before then, but you will not receive the title until Wells Fargo releases it after the loan is paid in full. With the CLS55, it took 4 days for them to release it, then 2 days to receive the loan paid in full letter, and another 2 days after that to get the title in the mail, and that lien was also through Wells Fargo. You will receive the car, the keys, a bill of sale, and all of the documentation I have on it. I have all the paperwork from the dealership, every page of it, along with receipts from MB Naperville and any other parts I purchased. The title will be sent to you (or delivered to you by me if you're close to me in IL.) as soon as I receive it. This is all guaranteed through eBay buyer protection. This vehicle is also sold AS-IS (no guarantee or warranty through me, personally), but the 5 year warranty purchased with the vehicle is included and will be transferred to the new owner for a $50 transfer fee. I already have the forms filled out, I just need the new owner's info :) The warranty is all-inclusive, and serviced direct through MB USA Dealerships. Shipping/Pick up:The C63 can be picked up by a shipping company of your choice. I have always used uShip for the shipping/delivery of vehicles, and they've never failed me. It is up to the buyer to coordinate and pay for the pick up and shipping of this vehicle. You are also free to pick up the C63 in North Aurora, IL. 60542 at an agreed upon time/date. When I had this car delivered to me, it cost $480 and the driver checked in with me via text the entire way. I can give you their contact info if you want to use the same guys I did. I can also meet you up to 30 miles max from North Aurora, IL. Issues with the car: 5 problems this car has are as follows:1. Comand unit opens fine every time, but occasionally it will not close when you power off the car and get out. It will sometimes open and close 2 or 3 times, then it will stay closed. Mercedes Benz of Naperville stated that this was caused by a plastic gear responsible for holding the cover of the Comand unit down. This does not happen all the time, and I honestly did not find it a serious enough issue to throw money into the repair. The Comand system works absolutely flawlessly aside from that. 2. The rear tires will need to be replaced soon. The fronts are in great shape. This is common with C63's. 3. Windshield washer pump works when it wants to. I purchased a new one but have not installed it yet. It is located inside the passenger side front wheel well. It is a 30 minute job and I might just do it before this auction ends, but wanted to mention it just in case I don't get around to it. :) 4. Sway bar links are in good shape, but could stand to be replaced, according to MB Naperville. I purchased a set but did not install them yet. They are included as well. 5. The rear flex disk on the driveshaft. It's 8 bolts, swap out the old one, put in the new one, put the 8 bolts back in. MB Naperville wanted $1,900 to perform this job. The disk cost me $135, and is included with the car. Any competent repair shop should be able to install this for under $200. It is less than 1 hour labor. There are no drive-ability issues whatsoever, I only purchased the part per MB Naperville's recommendation. There is no vibration at low or high speeds, no strange noises, no issues at all. This is why I did not install it just yet. I inspected the flex disk myself and it appears to be ok, but the part is included with the car anyways. FYI, I've been working on cars since 1995 :) At the time MB told me about this, my warranty was not in effect yet. So at this point it can just be taken in and done under the warranty! Again, no noises or issues at all, it drives and rides flawlessly. Overall the body is in good-great condition. It has a few small paint chips on the front grille and hood, and a couple on the bumper. There are no cracks, dents, or serious damage anywhere to be found. The paint is in excellent condition, it has clearly been garage kept its entire life. Here are my own personal notes on what was done on the vehicle since I've owned it.
