A rare find, 5 window custom cab with excellent metal and frame, 99% rust free. Older restoration with 8 of 10 paint, runs and drives great with later model 250 6 cylinder and Powerglide tranny. Slatted aircraft aluminum, custom bed with Rhino lined sides and tailgate. New, in cab gas tank with new sender and yes, the gas gauge works. This solid riding, little red truck is, for the most part, complete and ready to take back to her original glory or modify to your taste. Loads of documents and receipts, restoration guidelines and owner’s manual. Texas title in hand, car is located near Dallas Texas. Drive Line: Stock, later model 250 cid block, stock exhaust and single barrel carb. Starts right up, smooth, no smoke. Powerglide 2 speed automatic shifts really smooth. Original manual column shift has been adapted to automatic shifter. New in cab gas tank, new sender and eclectic fuel pump, original gas gauge works! Full exhaust in fair condition Most of the engine compartment is original and complete Chrome 15” rims and moons have some rust. 235 75R 15 Goodyear tires are about 50% Front end and suspension are solid Body: OEM and in excellent shape; Frame, floors, fenders, doors, rockers, inner wheel wells, roof, hood, cowl vent, front and rear window metal mounting area, and bed. Passenger side cab corner has some rust through, see pic. Battery tray has some rust but support brackets are good, new battery tray and hold down comes with the truck. Paint is high quality, older restoration with some slight dings. Rear passenger fenderwell has a slight bump, see pic. Overall, an easy 10 footer. Custom aluminum truck bed installed by owner, retired American Airlines mechanic Hood and fender emblems are OEM stainless and in very good condition Front grill is good, slight tarnish and rust areas Windshield, all 3 cab windows and weatherstripping are in excellent condition. Driver’s door window and passenger wing window are cracked. Older tint job needs replacing Front and rear bumpers have slight marks, scratches but metal and brackets are excellent New, lockable tool box professionally installed Interior: Bench seat is vinyl and has slight tears. Floor covering and padding are fairly new. Door panels and headliner are in good condition. Later model steering wheel is in very good condition Original column shift has been adapted to the Powerglide automatic transmission. Dash is OEM and includes OEM knobs and metal work Horn and gas gauge work, other gauges are unmolested but are not hooked up.
