Listed for sale is my 1978 Trans Am project car. Due to a combination of recent health issues and space constraint, i will not be able to finish it. The bodywork on the vehicle is basically done,except for the bumpers, everything else body-wise is repaired,primed and edged in with Mayan Red,an original '78 color. I bought the veh several years ago off Ebay, and found that someone had switched the original 400 for a 301 (to which i have added a 4 bbl. & intake). The car has not been started in about 3-1/2 yrs,but ran when put in storage garage.There is a new radiator and shroud sitting in place (uninstalled),new hood hinges (lines up great),new door hinge pins & bushings & strikers (doors fit nice,don't drag, all sheetmetal lines up nice), new windshield,new headliner & map lamp,new parcel shelf, All seats have newer covers & have had padding replaced, repro console, trunk is basically finished with spare,jack,new mat, Door panels are recent, not perfect,but in overall good shape(needs armrests,typical), floor pans have already been replaced,heater core replaced,evap core pulled & tested while dash out, have a coveted new Repro OER dash assy to still be installed that goes with it, went through dash wiring before removal & repaired circuits (working when dash pulled), new frt & rear speakers (will need radio..was going to install Custom Autosound unit eventually), Have new inner & outer door handles & bezels to be installed, (needs new glass hardware,worn) A lot of the hard work has been done,still needs re-assembly & typical mechanical freshening up..makes for a great solid base for a project,or one heck of a donor car if preferred. Vehicle is in pieces, so buyer is completely responsible for any/all shipping/transport & fees. Veh.has no warranty,sold where is,as is.VIN tag has been replcd @ some point,unable to find reason through research..but IS valid,and has been run,documented,and approved by Louisiana State Police.Any questions,please ask before bidding.
