Here it is..my prized 1965 Honda CL77 Scrambler 305...i said i would "NEVER" sell it..but things happen..due to injury and unforeseen circumstances...i am regretfully putting it up for sale. I restored this bike to best of MY abilities over the course of last 4 years..(i am a certified factory Honda technician)...i simply MUST make this clear..as i have had numerous "criticisms/inquiries" into how many things are "not fully restored correctly/etc."..i simply don't have time to debate down to "your hardware is mismatched/rusty/not correct"..etc.honestly..i don't care...i followed the book..i searched down as many original parts as i could..MYSELF..i didn't pay to have someone else restore it and just write a check...no fun for me that way..its a solid looking and great overall bike! I have tried my best to put pics up showing the blemishes in side cover and bolts not zinced, etc..the seat mount mod i did, etc., any further questions..feel free...i have put this bike up as is..as you see it..it's a rider..i am by no means saying this bike is a show winner!..now..that being said and out of the way..let's get back to bidding on this classic.. if you are looking for a great looking,great running Honda CL77 that turns heads..here it is...it does run great, starts on first kick every time! I have redone the entire motor top to bottom, new points, new paint, new seat cover, powder coated frame and parts, new tires, original chrome barely any pitting. Also has the original exhaust baffles! Most pull them out and toss them, or run snuff or nots...i tracked down an original set of baffles...VERY rare..this is the '65 small brake model..(single leading shoe)..actually quite rare model the 1965...This bike turns heads..and almost EVERYONE who sees it seems to have at one time either owned one, uncle owned one OR been beaten by oneWonderful Honda CL77..those who know these bikes KNOW exactly what they are and how rare they are getting...i always said i would never put this up..and here i am..so get it before i change my mind..due to a broken femur..i am deciding to part with my collection of bikes..starting with this one. email with any questions.. On Jul-16-16 at 23:43:19 PDT, seller added the following information: ALL lights work, has original front fork boots with one small tear..hardly noticeable, also one small crack on original rear fender near lower mount point on lower frame..hardly noticeable also..handlebars are aftermarket..horn is intermittent..(i didn't want to tear it apart to see if i could fix it)...all in all, this bike would be perfect for the person who wants to ride it as is..OR for the person who would want to restore completely...i hope that clears up most of the questions...happy bidding!
