Vehicle Detail

This is my Daily Driver for the past 4 years that my club members and I built in the survivor theme.. As if it was built in the 70's and forgotten about. We replaced the motor with a rebuilt 250 that is 30 over ( 255ci done by the world famous Gerald White of White performance) Behind that we put a 700r4 automatic we used the three speed factory shifter to shift the Automatic trans and left the clutch pedal to make it look as if it was a stock three speed. Custom drives shaft made by inland. The rear end has been rebuilt and stuffed with 3.73 gears and a Yukon posi track. This van cruises at highway speeds with no problem and still gets low 20's for MPG... There is a Bluetooth JVC CD player mounted in the glove box hooked up to 4 6x9s and a 10' sub that is built in the side bench seat in the back next to the hidden vintage Coleman cooler. The bed in back is a cut down memory foam mattress. Under the bed is a full size spare and plenty of room for tools camp gear or what ever you want store back ther away. We installed pop out rear windows and tinted them blue to match the NOS hard to find Blue Bubble windows which we installed also. The interior was completely covered in 4-5" white fun fur head liner, walls, arch and bed then the dog house, front wheel wells, side doors and back doors covered with black diamond pleat. Vintage Thrush side pipes have been restored and restuffed with glass packs installed professionally. YES they are hooked up to the motor and sound great!! The only true rust is on the lower section of the side door the rest of the van is very very solid as it came form Texas. I was told from the previous owner that I am the third owner. Vintage 15" Cragar SS wheels with big and little BF Goodrich tires were installed to finish off the perfect look for this boogie van!! This thing turns heads where ever I go. It is a 50 year old vehicle and is not perfect but it has the perfect patina or you can finish it out the way you want this is a great start to build that dream first gen chevy van.. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
