Vehicle Detail
This is a 1969 Triumph T120R in race replica street form. The engine is non-matching 650 unit type that is said to have a 750 kit installed, but I have no way of confirming the bore size or what it came from. Frame number is T120RGL22066. Title matches frame VIN. Engine is D9149 which does not correlate to a known model. Bike sports a conical hub front brake and lower fork legs from 1971-on drum brake Triumph twin and uses a solid-state battery eliminator. It has a nickel-plated rear swing arm reminiscent of Redline and Trackmaster flat-track frames. I bought it exactly the way you see it from Hermey's Triumph, an authorized Triumph dealer, in Port Clinton PA. It has a correct slimline Bonneville tank. It runs and drives super! The tires are new. Its ready to go in it's current form. I bought it because I had all the stock parts for it. It makes a nice project to return to stock form, if I'd ever get to it. I've several projects to finish first. So here it is on eBay. Included in this sale are nearly all the correct stock parts should you want to restore it to vintage 1969 form, albeit with non-matching engine and frame numbers. That would be an inexpensive way to get a vintage Bonne for less money, or you can customize it to your liking, cafe it you liking, turn to a vintage bike, or ride it like it is. This is the good handling non-oil frame chassis. Included are an extra stock battery box, stock oil tank, stock side cover, correct seat, 1969 front fork legs and complete twin leading shoe front wheel with axle, painted front and rear stainless fenders, speedometer, bracket for speedometer and tachometer, chain guard, rear sub-frame, stock shocks, full size headlight assembly, taillight assembly, etc. Not all of the parts are shown in the photos. Most will need refinishing, but they all go with the sale. I could easily sell these parts separately but they are included with the bike. Clear Pennsylvania title in my own name.
