Thank you for viewing the auction for my 1979 BMW 635 CSI Euro. I have owned this 635 Euro for the past 4 years and love it. Unfortunately we had a tornado come through our property and as a result a large tree limb landed on it destroying the windshield and causing damage to the windshield frame, hood, fender, and other small dents to the body. There is no structural damage and it is definitely repairable. Given its rarity I feel it is best for parts at it is loaded with valuable and rare Euro parts. The prior owner spent over $20,000 on mechanical restoration, all performed over the last 40,000 kilometers. Engine was professionally rebuilt. Rebuilt Getreg 265 dogleg 5 speed with new clutch as well. Suspension, steering, brakes, and structural metal work also performed. It is a blast to drive and the tree limb damage did no mechanical or structural damage. Starts right up and drives. I have receipts for all of the work performed. Title is clear and in my name. This 635 is loaded with thousands of dollars of parts. It is a shame that the tree limb fell on it, but that's the way it goes. This is a no reserve auction with a low $500 starting bid.
