1968 Pontiac Firebird 400. 73,000 miles. I bought this car from a gentlemen that owned it for nearly 40 years ! Here is what I remember that he told me about it. Motor and transmission were rebuilt about 8 years ago. Both have about 6,000 miles since build. The motor is not matching numbers. The paint is poor, it is a 15 footer. Looks great from far, imperfections from up close. Interior is pretty darn nice. Runs drives good and stops on a dime !. He spend a good amount of money on this car including brake booster system and converting the drum front brakes to calibers, rotors and pads. Now underneath this car looks great ! Frame is clean and rust free ! Floor boards have also been done, Suspension, new leaf springs, new gas tank. The Top is also Brand new ! The Interior other then a very small tear in drivers seat that you can barely see, is near mint condition, with new carpets, new door panels, new center console, new headliner. And a nice Ken-wood radio and speakers. Everything that I've noticed works as it should, it is not a perfect car but a good car that with little attention would make a great car and listed at a MUST Buy it now price !
