Early Devin D 1958 Prototype. Rare and unusual Devin D with 23,338 miles. From what I gather this could be an early Devin D. I have only seen two Devin's with this body style. Mine and one in Quebec Canada. This one is VW powered 1965ish, with a lot of VW components. I am dating the car as 1958 because of the 58 VW fuel tank. 1958 was the first year of the Devin D. The car is in need of total restoration but is do able.There is body damage but fibreglass is repairable. Hood is missing otherwise the car is fairly complete.Motor is locked up but the car does roll. The car was last ran in 1971.I believe this is a factory built car. The car has the 3" tube frame.Factory cars also had grey primer. The kit cars had charcoal primer. The I cannot find the VIN number. I was told they were faintly stamped on the frame. The frame has surface rust but is solid. There is no title. I will give the buyer a bill of sale. Pick up only please.
