You are bidding on a 1969 ford Torino just out of long term storage. This car is a 302 v8 with a manual transmission three in the tree which is an oddity in a Torino. The clutch pedals and all linkage are present. I believe the rear end to be an 8". The body has the usual dents and dings but the only rust I found is in the battery tray in the engine compartment. This car has always been in Goldendale wa and we are in a fairly dry climate. Note the license plate that has the z in it. That means the car was originally registered in Klickitat county which is where the car still resides. This car has never seen salted roads and hasn't been operable in many years. We tried to turn the engine over and it appears stuck. It may be easily freed but no guarantees. The door glass is present it is sitting in the doors because it came off the tracks. The interior is shot and will need redone. Basically every component will need rebuilt or restored since the car sat for so long. This would be an excellent parts or restoration project. The vin shows this to be a 302 2 barrel car. Please look at the pictures and ask questions before bidding. I have a clear Washington title in hand ready to hand over. The car rolls and steers fine but the tires are dry rotted. The engine runs and is not stuck like I thought. I have video of it running I will gladly send any potential buyers. Obviously it will need a tune up and maybe more please be realistic. First off when I say the engine runs I mean I runs off a 5 gallon gas can when jumped across the starter solenoid. This does not mean you can drive it home!!!! There is no brakes!!!! The tires do not hold air and are weather checked and rotted!!!! If you send a transport truck please let them know these things. Please be realistic this car has sat for many years. If you are wondering to yourself " does the car need this"? The answer is yes it needs everything refurbished or replaced to be nice. Please please be realistic I don't want any issues.
