Vehicle Detail
This is a NO RESERVE auction that I am starting at $0.01. I intend that someone purchase my motorcycle but I reserve the right to remove or end the listing early as this bike is also being sold locally. Up for sale is my 'urban tourer' and a most reliable motorcycle. I am the second owner of this bike. It currently has close to 18,000 miles and has always been fully maintained by local authorized BMW dealers and shops. Here are the options that are included: This is a FACTORY LOWERED suspension bike, making it very easy for a beginner rider or a city rider, or both. I have a factory lowered bench seat and I also have a standard Corbin seat fitted for longer rides. I will likely place the bench seat for the sale but can include the Corbin for an additional fee. This is a highly recommended upgrade and worth it! The bike is fitted with an aftermarket large screen and bar risers, making it a more 'standard' position motorcycle, and far easier for longer trips. Bike comes also with heated grips, trip computer, a Garmin GPS cradle (GPS not included), keyed to bike side bags, brand new battery installed May 2016, and Michelin Road Pilot 4 tires at about 70% tread, which are considered the best sport touring tires on the planet. I have the original manual and if necessary can contact the dealer for a printout of all work. Bike had the recall done for the faulty fuel pump sensor in March 2013. I never installed the BMW F-800 tank bag so if you want it, let me know and we can add the cost to the final sale. The tank bag is otherwise brand new. Full Disclosure: The motorcycle is registered and perfectly operational but it is no pampered vehicle. There is rash on both mirrors and the left panel is also damaged, as is the bottom right panel. The front left fork is lightly seeping oil but it does not affect the operation of the bike--I just have not had time to repair as I have other projects. If interested I can show you the bike if you are local to the Philadelphia area and I can provide you the video of the vehicle starting, running, and show you that all lighting and signals work. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and while I prefer local pickup, I can work with the buyer for shipping. Upon end of auction I expect a $500 deposit within the first 48 hours, and the balance within the first 7 days. There is no lien on the bike, I own the bike free and clear. Good luck to you all, and if you want or need more pictures, please message me and I will accommodate whenever possible. On Jun-30-16 at 15:26:39 PDT, seller added the following information: EDIT: The recall was done in 2012, I have been the second owner since 2011.On Jun-30-16 at 15:58:02 PDT, seller added the following information: This bike has ABS, Brembo brakes, and a PSi reader.
