2006 Velocity Red Mica (metallic) RX8, GT Stick Shift, Bose, Navigation, Red Leather interior. I purchased this car and at that point it had a dead battery or was flooded. I thought I could replace the battery and get it going, so I replaced the battery and couldn't get it to fire. Then I was able to deflood the car and get it started - it ran- but then realized it had a coolant leak (white smoke ect....) I took off the battery and really haven't messed with it since. The coolant leak makes it hard to start. I love the color/ package and options; however, I don't want to put more time into it. It could be an easy fix if you have more knowledge than I do, or it could be more difficult. The auction is for no reserve, so even if you get it and can't fix it you could part it out and make money. (The red interior alone is worth about $900, wheels $500, transmission $500, navigation/radio $500, lights $150 per light, body panels, shocks, ect... ) So with that being said I am starting it at a very reasonable price and no reserve. Then if you are able to fix it cheaply - great. If not you still won't lose any money. The car does have some dents in the hood (nothing horrible, but they are there) - which you can kinda see in the pictures. Local pick up or I will work with shipping.
