Vehicle Detail
What we have here ... is my wifes car for sale. She just got a new nissan, so we are selling this. It's a fun summer car! 2003 VW convertible. It was her daily driver until we bought her new one. She loved this car though. It has somewhere around 164,000 miles. she still drives it on the weekends. The tires are almost new. Had new ones put on a couple months before she got her new car. It runs great. she was getting around 30 mpg on an average. we always used Mobile 1 for our oil changes. I'll list everything that can be considered wrong with it. nothing mechanical is wrong with it at all.The convertible top works, just have to guide it on the way back up. kids got ahold of one of the cables that is part of that stuff and unhooked it. still works, just need to guide it or figure out where it was unhooked from. The car has 4 roll down windows, the back drivers side does not role up or down. it's "off the track" so we just leave it up as you can see in the pictures. it has little pits in the front from normal road stuff. & the keyless door lock fob needs a battery. I like to list everything i can think of so there are no surprises when someone comes to look at it. It's a great car. We drive it to the coast on vacation, makes for a fun triphere's a list of what it has:2.0 L 4cyl5-Speed M/TA/CAdjustable Steering WheelCruise ControlFog LampsHeated MirrorsIntermittent WipersKeyless EntryPass-Through Rear SeatPower Door LocksPower SteeringPower WindowsRear DefrostRemote Trunk ReleaseSide Air BagsTilt Wheel NON-refundable deposit of $500 within 24 hours of end of auction, Rest in Cash in person. do not accept checks, money orders or anything else that is easily defrauded. for those who do not know, the selling fee for cars sold on ebay is $125. as well as a 10% ($350 of a $3500 car) final value fee. and their fees for having a buy it now price. i think this will be my last time using ebay. for the opportunity to sell my car to a larger market, it will cost me $500 just from ebay alone. then another chunk from paypal. I'm just saying this as a warning to anyone thinking about selling on ebay.
