Good day.... Up for auction is my well maintained and well cared for 1996 R1100RT. She's been my undeniably reliable ride. I have looked over her meticulously. I'm a licensed aviation mechanic. The following has been done (from latest to earliest): - both left and right front fork seals replaced- generator V- Belt replaced- new rear Metzeler Z6- drained and flushed entire front and rear brake circuits- replaced oil filler neck assembly. Was previously leaking when engine was running- replaced OE battery with an Odyssey PC680- seriously...the best battery for this bike.- installed sidestand foot enlarger- replaced engine oil & filter (approx. 1,600 miles ago)- replaced front tire: Metzeler Z6- changed transmission & rear differential gear oil: Mobil 1 75W90 Gear Oil (approx. 2100 miles ago)- changed spark plugs (Autolite 3923/ gapped to .031")- installed a Givi Monokey adapter plate. Suitable to mount ANY MonokeyRear Case The previous owner installed: a - Cee Baileys windscreen- installed cylinder head protective guards- installed Cee Baileys clear headlight guard There are no leaks. The ABS works as it should. Heated grips work. Electric windshield works. Provided that these engines are well maintained, these boxer twins exceed 150k miles easily.
