1999 Mercury Mystique Sport Sedan 103,664 Miles, 4 Door, Tan Color with Spoiler Tan Cloth Interior, All Working Seat Belts, All locks/windows are electric and in working order, air conditioning, defrost & heat works, turn signals work, radio and speakers work, but tape deck does not. Battery is dead but new. One of the tires has a slow leak. This car needs some work, but has been well maintained and has very low mileage. All oil changes have been on schedule. Someone made the mistake of putting a hot battery on the backseat so there is a battery-sized, rectangular shaped area that was damaged from the heat. Aside from that, there are no other major interior damage issues. The exterior is in great condition for the age of the vehicle. Car Repairs Needed: Needs an exhaust cam sprocket. The car is definitely well worth repairing and has most of it's engine life left. A certified repair shop examined the car, and this is how I know it is the cam sprocket that is needed. One of the tires also needs repaired or replaced. ***CAR IS LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST AREA OF COLUMBUS, OHIO 43235. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PICKUP VEHICLE OR HAVE IT TOWED*** Kelley Blue Book shows this car value from $2048 in Fair Condition to $2682 in Excellent Condition so I believe this is a fair price to account for repairs needed. The car is worth repairing. It drove great before the problem with the exhaust started. I would love for someone to fix it up for their teen or take it on as a new garage project, but it could be easily sold for parts. I simply don't have the right location, skills or time to do that myself. A quick search on eBay showed that hundreds of dollars were spent in just the last few days on parts for this car.
