The 1999 VFR is the most desirable year due to gear driven cams, fuel injection, fuel mapping and no EGR Valve or Oxygen sensor that the 2000 and 2001 have. It was sold as one of the first race ready out of the showroom.Runs, Rides and handles perfectly! New battery purchased less than 1 year ago and also has the rectifier upgrade. This bike is 99% untouched factory with the exception of the Akrapovic slip-on shown. An everyday rider for me, with only fork seals needed to be perfect! I am the third owner and have kept the bike garaged; never dropped, raced or painted. Bike has very good Michelin tires with hundreds of miles of tread remaining. Comes with OEM tool kit.
