For sale by the second owner is a gorgeous 2009 Mercedes Benz SL550 with only 24,000 original miles. I am selling this for a close friend who is in the process of moving and needs to downsize his personal collection. I am a NYS dealer, but the sale will be conducted by the owner and myself...it is a private sale and I am helping him list his car as he isn't too good with computers. I have sold a lot of vehicles on Ebay (including three other Mercedes), but this has to be the most gorgeous example of a fine car. Here is what I can tell you about the condition of the car. The exterior is virtually scratch free and no dings or dents. It was just picked up from the local Mercedes dealer where it was professionally detailed and the paint is exquisite. I couldn't find one noteworthy mark on the whole car. I would give the paint a 9 out of 10. The inside interior is just as beautiful as the outside of the car. It's a creme leather that is also free from any noticeable wear or stains. It does have the panoramic roof and sliding sunscreen. It also has the wood trim package. The carpet is also like new and there is also a brand new pair of floor mats that will come with the car (the owner bought them as extras in case the originals got dirty). The car also has the Airscarf neck-level heating; dual zone air conditioning; communication system with Teleaid and power trunk closer; navigation, blue tooth, power windows, power/heated and cooled seats and headrests, power locks, security system, Harman-Kardon Sound system and power convertible top. I would rate the interior a 9 out of 10. Mechanically the car is outstanding and runs and drives just fantastic. I drove it approximately 100 miles to and from the dealership in Erie PA and this car drives straight and purrs. It has the powerful V8 engine and is an automatic that shifts the 7 speed with overdrive and touch shift effortlessly. The vehicle is also equipped with the keyless go engine start; traction control; and speed control. There are no warning lights or check engine lights on. The tires are approximately 50% tread left and has the AMG wheels that are in great condition as well. The brake wear indicator is on and was told by the dealership today that the front brakes are 2/3 worn and will need replacing soon. It will also need an oil change soon as it was just removed from being stored in my friend's garage. The mechanical hardtop works perfectly and I even took a video of it in operation if you care to text me to see it. This car has always been garage kept and has NEVER seen winter. The owner is moving to a smaller home and won't have room for this beautiful car and doesn't have the heart to keep it outside...he is moving from a 4 car garage to a 2 car garage. I can honestly say this is probably one of the nicest looking Mercedes in the SL model for the age of the car. Having less than 24K miles is hard to find in this condition. There are no accidents or paint work on the dealer's report and will indicate 2 owners. It also has all the manuals and two key fobs. The buy it now price is well below retail and even below Kelly Blue Book private party value for this vehicle. I have 100 percent positive feedback so bid with confidence. The vehicle is located in Jamestown, NY 14701 and I can arrange for transport. I will be happy to work with a transport company of your choice if need be, or can pick you up at the Buffalo NY or Erie PA airport. The car must be paid for by wire transfer to the owner's bank (or of course cash). The title is clean and is paid for. There is a lien release from the bank and the title will be signed over once funds are received. I would appreciate a non-refundable 500.00 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours and the remainder can be paid within 3 days. The owner will not accept a bank check or cashier's check.
