Up for sale is a solid, slightly worn since rebuild, Beetle - 1968 body, 1971 motor. Runs great. Solid & dependable, no rust in floorpans, battery tray or heater channels. This car is not perfect, but looks good on the outside and even better on the inside. Father/son restoration in 2011, driven until 2014. Car is in dry storage & run regularly. (EDIT 5/28*** PLEASE SEE PHOTOS) As I was cleaning up the car after pulling it from storage, I found the following:--cancer spot under left front headlight -- Two crack-type rust-throughs on the top of the passengere-side door sill. Total length 4.5-5" -- the driver's wing window latch is missing. A new latch assembly is included in the sale, along with a ton of smaller parts - largest are two louvered steel running boards If anyone who has bid at or above the reserve wishes to pull out after seeing this new information, I have no problems with it. Apologies for not posting this sooner. The car should be re-painted for aesthtetic reasons..
