NO RESERVE AUCTION 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Needs engine and body work (please read full description and see all photos)Clean California title Vehicle sold AS-IS145k milesTiptronic Transmission Oil mixed with coolant and engine was overheated. We did a compression test to verify a possible head gasket issue and/or cracked head/cylinder liner. Compression tested good and engine fires right up without misfiring or check engine lights. Oil cooler is the likely culprit but we have not confirmed this 100%. This is a very common failure on 99-01 911 models. The oil cooler is around $550 and the system will need to be flushed a few times to get all the oil out of the coolant. The car is in pretty rough condition. All panels on the exterior excluding front left fender, left door and left quarter panel have some scuffs and/or damage. The front bumper can be reconditioned with only a few scuffs, front hood closes but is bent (was not closed for photos) The rear bumper will need to be replaced. Driver side skirt is damaged and passenger fender, door and quarter panel have some damage. Spoiler is in good shape. Windshield is cracked and will need replaced. Interior just needs a good cleaning. A/C blows ice cold. Transmission was shifting fine before the water/oil mixed. Litronic headlights are in good condition.
