Vehicle Detail
I've owned this car for 11 years. DAILY DRIVER (2 days/ week) to the office. REAL HEAD TURNER!! ALWAYS garaged and covered. The car has never been wet or in an accident. Have title. Car has a California non-operation registration. HISTORY: The car was originally bought by a "well to do" manufacturer in the San Francisco area. On rainy days it stayed in the garage. He suffered a heart attack at work and died. The car was covered at work and forgotten until 1969 when a grand nephew was cleaning out the warehouse and discovered the car. It was given to a Compadre of Big Daddy Roth (Rat Fink), that lived 4 blocks from my first home purchase, who eventually did an "old world" Rod conversion with a Corvair independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering. When his health declined I had the opportunity to buy it. The drive train has aprox 2500 miles, Original crank up windshield, Original gas gage works, new 67 Camaro bucket seats (have Original carriage front seat), Original dash (never cut), SW gages, Original steering wheel (restored) , Excellent vinyl top, new glass (right rear door window has a crack in it), True spoke wheels, Paint is decent (Original) but could use new paint to be perfect. The car has been in storage for 2 years. I have moved to Baja, Mexico and don't think this is the best place for the car. With a little loving care this could be a REAL show stopper. I was going to restore the front seat and make it a power seat mounting. I also bought the disc brake kit for the Coviar front end to increase the stopping power. It will need to be installed. Considered a Ford front end, but it rides great... Put new fuel in 2 weeks ago and She started up on first rotation (like always) LOVE THIS CAR! Buyer is responsible for shipping and cost. Car is sold as is.
