1967 Pontiac Firebird. Verdoro Green with Ivy Gold interior. Odometer shows 26872. I would assume the mileage is 126,872. PHS docs show it was bought new at Ernie Von Schledorn Pontiac in Menomonee Falls, WI. Born with a 326-2bbl, 2spd auto, 2.56 rear end. Now has a rebuilt 69 YL code 428 with #13 heads, 68 GTO intake, 750 Holley, headers, a Turbo 350 with shift kit and 2000 stall converter and a freshly rebuilt 8.5" posi rear with 3.42 gears. Bucket seats with auto console. Power steering, non power drum brakes and a classic 80's JVC cassette deck. Starts, runs and drives great. Has an aluminum radiator with factory shroud and never runs hot. New fuel tank, lines, sender and large cannister fuel pump. No smoke or knocks and good oil pressure.I have owned this car for over 10 years and it always turns heads. The car was restored about 12 year ago with new quarters, trunk pan and some floor pan work. Paint is in very good shape. Also has welded subframe connectors. Has all 4 original JC code rally wheels, but I run 15's on the rear, I also have a new-in-box set of Flowmaster tailpipes that will be included. The bad: Speedometer reads about 5mph too fast. Voltmeter on triple gauge set doesn't work. Driver's seat cover is splitting at some of the seams (see photo). Windshield trim by the passenger visor is loose (see photo). Small rust hole in corner of drivers door (see photo). Small dent above passenger side quarter chevrons (see photo). Hood hinges are worn and hood does not sit level at rear when closed. Sun tach doesn't work. Passenger turn signal indicator in dash doesn't light up, but all lights and signals work correctly. Steering wheel was changed and horn doesn't work. Original wheel will be included. The front tires have plenty of tread but I would change them due to age. Could use some new weatherstrip around wing and quarter windows. Parking brake doesn't work, it needs cables from rear axle to splitter. I would consider this car a nice driver that is priced accordingly. You can proudly drive it anywhere!
