Vehicle Detail
As vintage bikes had increased interest,i found 2 classics in back storage area 71 cb750 and also a z1,This has an original OEM tank with original paint,it has a few light scratatches and one chip,no dents, sealed with epoxy compound, not cream coat, cap is the key stye with both ignition and key match,The sidecovers were original paint but had one small crack which I attempted to repair, which led to having custom paint and both sides being repainted to match tank for $400 but still OEM, I just got them back so they have not been buffed or waxed.. Frame and motor numbers are correct, Bike built in 2/1971,Seat was bought new and is ducktail with the sliding latch.Front fender is correct, original, Top clamp is unicorn style with correct original gauges .Low milage on older bikes is commen here. Carbs were rebuilt and cleaned, Turn signals were replaced all around .Also back taillight is the smaller size, original. This has been mechanicly ready since Nov. last year, not a good time to sell a bike, and I hoped to find two painted candy gold covers,no luck.Repops painted are about the same as I paid for paint . .In November bike was driven ,brakes were rebuilt, ,new plugs etc.All lights worked, and bike rode well . At that time tank was drained, and battery disconnected, its a new battery and has the original toolbox .3 Exchaust pipes were replaced Honda oem 341's ,1 original is a hm300 which is visible in pictures. I did not spend a lot of time polishing engine or chrome, which shows some flaws after many years ,but no dents or holes in exchaust pipes! All around good running, mostly original surviver, strong motor/tranny with low milage, Has clear tranferable registration in my name, want to move on to complete my 74z1.Good Luck! Again a bike built in 7/71 is a 1972 and will reflect that on the title, not all the 71's are actually 71's.numbers with 107,108 yes, if its 110000,thats a 72
