1982 Honda 250 CM 8,775 miles. Absolutely gorgeous!! I bought this bike used in 1986 with 400 miles on it. Sadly I need to part with it. The blue book value is around $1200, but they do not ask mileage or condition on a bike this old. Blue book probably considers a bike this old to be crap and most are. What we have here is a bike that needs nothing but a new owner! It runs smooth, is beautiful and in need of a good home. It has newer tires and headlamp bulb. I put different grips on it probably 15 years ago but they were as close to original as I could find at the Honda shop. Otherwise it is stock and really nice. Seat is perfect. It even has the original shop sticker on it's back fender. (Country Roads is now out of business in Cedarburg, WI) All the original tools included (the original tool case fell apart years ago and I have them in a newer leather bag) and the original manual that came with it. I will throw in dust cover. I did sell this bike to a guy I worked with in 1998 and I immediately was sad I did. He rode it for a few weeks and then bought a Harley, I bought the bike back from him. I would like to find someone interested in enjoying and preserving the beauty of this bike. If you need an old beater to learn on, look elsewhere. If you truly want one of the best - this is the one, if you want one of the rest, there are plenty of junkers around that will suffice. This bike hasn't even seen a puddle in well over 20 years. I just saw that the bike reached the reserve price and went to uncover it and get it going. It started great and I have been busily going over everything...title, fresh gas, etc. I noticed that on the right side of the tank there are three cracks in the decal on the tank. I looked on my listing and realized this was not in ANY of the pictures so I just took two pics and posted them... one of each side. Left side is perfect, right side has some top to bottom cracks. I honestly didn't realize this was the case. ( I took the pics last summer when I was trying to sell it on Craigslist ) I totally understand if the current high bidder wants to retract the bid. I do not think it detracts from a 34 year old bike too much, but realize the tank is a big part of the attractiveness of any bike. Sorry!
