THE OVERVIEW Offered for an appreciating new owner is this rare classic 1961 CHEVROLET CORVAIR TWO-DOOR COUPE! Finished in white over light blue vinyl, this rare 56 year-old Chevy coupe is a great find for the current Corvair owner or for someone who wants a solid foundation upon which to build. It does NOT have an engine or transmission but does have a key in the ignition, looks to be solid and close to 100% rust-free and includes a front trunk full of miscellaneous parts. THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this car is in decent, intact, straight, dry and looks to be in fairly original condition throughout. I would deem it fairly rust-free with solid body panels, original glass and one area of corrosion on the bottom of one rear pillar. The chrome bumpers and trim are in good original condition. The body panels have MANY areas of fading, scratching, mismatched touchup, etc. THE INTERIOR As I hope is articulated in the photos here, the interior of this car is in quite original appearing condition with decent seat upholstery, nice headliner and steering wheel.
