1951 Mercury M3 Pickup Truck, complete less motor. Very rare truck in good original condition. Selling with No Reserve to the highest bidder. This Mercury truck has a real nice look to it with the natural ageing of the paint. It is complete less the motor. Originally it would have been fitted with a Flat Head V8. It requires restoration but has very minimal rust compared to most. The floors are in good shape as are the cab corners. The box sides have the usual corrosion areas and there is a little rust on the front fenders where the uppers and lowers meet but it is not that bad. The interior is complete less the ash tray. It has the original seat. All Mercury emblems are there and in great shape. The Mercury tailgate is in good shape with no rust at all but someone has cut it to make an opening flap. Fortunately they have not cut any of the Mercury lettering so this could be nicely repaired. The windshield and rear window are both missing. It would be an ideal candidate for a ratrod or restomod. The pick up box floor is partly rotted away (wood). An M3 model is a heavy duty 3/4 ton truck the same as a Ford F3. Mercury trucks were only sold in Canada and are very rare compared to the equivalent Ford's. It rolls easily for loading onto a trailer. All tires will hold air although the left rear is flat in the photos.
