1984 Jeep CJ-7 for Sale @ $5000.00 99.9% rust free. Nicest CJ tub I have seen in a long time. Ford 302 out of mustang GT with Factory headers.4 speed Trans with new hydraulic clutch slave cyl.Currie Twin Sticks on transfer case.4.88 gears with a spool in rear and ARB air locker in front.Built in compressor for locker.Custom 8’’ suspension lift. (no body lift)Tube type trail doors.Screen type full Bimini top. 35x12.50 BF Goodrich trail tires with matching spare. All mounted on 8’’ rims. Good condition.Scout Dana 44’s front and rear.Rock crawler power steering with custom pump and steering box brace Rear axle pinion tilt.Heim Joints on all front steering. (No tie rod ends)Custom front and rear bumpers.Warn winch on front with controller. This Jeep was my twin daughter’s toy but has sat un-used for 3 years while they finished nursing school. I started it up about every 3 months and even drove it up and down the road then parked it again. It will need a good servicing and most likely a battery. I did notice that the tires have slight weather checking on the sidewalls even though they look great. This Jeep was a golden eagle edition I think. Still has the factory clock and tach. (Speedometer needs replacement glass and fuel gauge is not working). There is more on the nice jeep but I can’t remember all of it. This is a great off road Jeep. It would need some mods to make a street driver out of it. It would need the rear spool replaced with a limited slip, posi, or air locker like the front. Right now the inside tire will hop when turning on a hard surface. It will also need the front sway bar re-pinned. Right now it is set up for trail. Easy as putting in two pins (quick detach style) I am sure I am forgetting something but overall it’s a great jeep for the money. Plan to check and change all oil and lubes as the ol girl has been sitting for awhile. Last time I drove it I noticed the left front disc brake was hanging up a little, I just tapped on the caliper and it was fine but like I said it's been sitting for awhile. Bring jumper cables and a trailer as I won't sell this to you to drive home. There are no tops or doors other than pictured that goes with this jeep. Spend the weekend getting her spiffed up and serviced and enjoy! (Parents, please don’t buy this for your 16 year old. It’s a lot of Jeep and is very powerful. Not the best choice for a new/young driver) Thanks.
