NO RESERVE - Rare 1948 Oldsmobile Dynamic Cruiser Sedan DeLuxe 215 CI Straight 6, 77k. The long 11 window "Dynamic Cruiser DeLuxe" Series 70 model has a longer wheelbase providing "all day riding in uncrowded comfort". This was the first year for the Hydra-Matic automatic transmission "option available at extra cost" for "no clutch no shift driving ease and new motoring enjoyment".Recent work includes radiator, exhaust, brakes, tuneup, new tires and new 6 volt battery. Starts easily every time, accelerates well, shifts easy and handles the road like the big 40's cruiser it is. The brake pedal is firm and the large car stops quickly with out much force. Emergency brake not working. Straight and rust-free overall with no bodywork, one small dent on driver's fender from backing out of the garage. The Olds has always been garaged and the floors, trunk and frame are solid. Interior in presentable original condition. Clock lights up but doesn't work. Includes cd player under dash with a 12 volt converter. Some tears on the driver's side of the front seat but overall complete and comfortable with premium padded leatherette seat covers. The paint will shine when washed and when waxed looks pretty good.Includes a new shrink-wrapped set of door weatherstripping and various new trim and interior parts collected over the years in original boxes. Includes a huge binder that includes owner's manual, repair manuals, catalogs and various other paperwork from over the years. Lights, horn and wipers work as well as heat and defrost.
