Up for sale is my 85 VF 1000R. This bike looks and runs amazing with a clear Iowa title. I had the carbs polished, jetted correctly for the current setup and professionally cleaned last May. The bike has a new battery, seat cover, grips,front and rear tires that were put on last fall with less than 200 miles on the set. It has Kerker exhaust that looks and sounds great along with a K&N filter. The bike also had a recent tune-up so it's ready to ride. I have put way too many new parts on to list. I had the top fork mount(not currently installed), seat mount, and taillight bracket powder coated black along with having the handlebars and mounts polished. I have the OEM bar ends and vibration damper inserts that I haven't installed yet. The body has great color and I tried to show the minor flaws in the pics. The rear cowl has the tab broke but still fits as it should over the seat and the rear lower cowl shows some wear on the left side towards the rear. The lower cowl has a small crack on the left side that had been repaired at one time. The tank has a dent on the left side as seen in pic from being in the garage. On the top cowl you can see where there is a hole drilled in each side by the headlight. In the pic with the cover removed the top mounting tabs have been removed that attach the headlight cover. Why they did this I have no idea but the headlight cover still mounts tight to the fairing. Also there is some flaking around the mirrors on top cowl. The left fork seal started to leak a little oil that I noticed the other day which is no big deal but still needed addressed. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs.
