Vehicle Detail
This is an excellent 1973 Honda CB750 K3 motorcycle! It currently is part of the collection of the Motorcycle and Model Railroad Museum of Wisconsin, however, we are downsizing to focus more on the railroad end of things and so a number of motorcycles are being sold as we prepare to move to a new facility. This motorcycle was obtained in 2014 from the second owner. He and his son were into racing and were going to turn it into a race bike, but because it was so beautiful, they did not have the heart to do so, so they called us and sent it on to us! The owner said "it's a used motorcycle in like new condition" and he was exactly right! We checked it over from top to bottom at our shops and found nothing that needed to be done with it, so all that has been performed has been standard general maintenance. The chrome is fine, the paint is fine, the seat is excellent, the rubber and tires are excellent---it is a really great bike as a whole. It has been stored throughout the winter and maintained in our heated facilities. The Vintage Motorcycle Certification Service gives it a grade of a 1.5 (1 is a perfect score) and we are confident you will love this bike. It runs excellent and with the low mileage of 6,852 miles, should give you many years of trouble-free riding pleasure. As an example, last year, we rode it to Vintage Days in Ohio, so we are very comfortable with its reliability! Payment should take place in the form of a $100 non-refundable deposit through Pay Pal, with the balance to be paid within 7 days via a certified check or money order drawn on a U.S. Bank through which we can verify the funds. We request the name and phone number of the bank officer that you are working with be included with your payment so we can contact them directly to verify the check and the availability of the funds. This allows us to release the vehicle to you quicker. Upon receipt and verification of the check, we will then send the signed title to you via registered mail. We DO NOT accept cash at pick up. Shipping cost of the motorcycle, if you choose to ship it, is the responsibility of the buyer. We will work with you to arrange a time for you to either pick up the motorcycle yourself, or work with your shipper to arrange a pick up date. The best dates for pick up are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 9AM and 5PM, but there is some flexibility depending on schedules, so communication is always key! We are easy to work with if you can follow the instructions herein. Feel free to email us with any questions, or leave us a message at 920-865-1219, as we are an "open book" about the motorcycle. Thanks!!!
