I have owned this little gem for almost 5 years. I have always wanted to do more to it, but I have now run out of time. Paint is fair with the clear coat flaking away in a few spots. The top is 1-1/2 years old and keeps the elements out. Heater works good. Radio/CD player is good, has 3 speakers. Newer 4x4 style General Grabber tires. Runs great, the little LSi engine has a good amount of pep to it. I replaced the timing belt about 2 years ago.The engine smokes on start up, especially if it has sat for a while. I suspect valve stem seals, if interested, would solve the problem there. There is an oil leak, I believe it to be the front oil seal, It does use a little antifreeze, I just top it off once a week or so as I do with the oil. This has been a daily driver to work and back for years (24 miles a day). Has a current Virginia Safety Inspection sticker. Odometer has been broken since I got it. Vehicle speed sensor is bad, according to the obd II read out. All in all, a cool little SUV. I enjoy putting the sun roof part of the top down and taking a ride in the country. I would keep it and continue to fix it up, but I am going through a lot of unexpected life changes and I won't have a place to keep but one vehicle very soon, and I need my pickup truck more.
