This is an extremely nice 1971 Chevrolet Nova Super Sport that I am listing for a lifelong friend who has not listed on Ebay before. (Please note my feedback profile). This car was purchased by him 8 years ago from an individual in Tennessee. It has been stored in a climate-controlled garage since purchase. This car is "Salsa Red.." This paint color has a bronze appearance (correct for this paint color). The car was painted for the previous owner by a restoration company and is VERY nice in appearance. The interior is black vinyl with bucket seats, new black carpeting, black interior panels, etc. This car is equipped with a fresh 496 cid professionally built big block Chevrolet engine. It features a 4-bolt main low-deck (9.8") steel block, bored to .060 with a new Eagle 4340 steel crankshaft. The engine has new Eagle 4340 I-beam rods with 8740 bolts. Also, the engine has new Probe forged flat-top pistons, Merlin rectangular port steel heads, new Bullet solid roller camshaft, new Comp Cams "Ultra Gold" roller rocker arms, new Comp Cams 3/8" welded-tip push rods, new Cloyes billet steel double roller timing chain set, new Melling high-volume oil pump, new Holley HP Billet 170gph mechanical fuel pump, new Edelbrock aluminum "Air-Gap" intake manifold, Holley 850 cfm double-pumper carburetor, new Milidon Street/Strip oil pan assembly, new Moroso flexible braided oil dipstick, new CVR Pro Torque Mini Starter, new ATI Super Damper harmonic balancer, new Pro Form chrome valve covers, new Weiand aluminum water pump, new Flex Steel Fan, new MSD Pro Billet distributor and MSD Blaster Coil, new MSD Dynaforce alternator, new March pulleys/brackets, new Hooker "Competition" ceramic coated headers, and new MSD 8.5 spark plug wires. These components have less than 100 miles since assembly! This car also features new 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers, new stainless steel brake lines, a 12 bolt rear end, with new Eaton limited-slip differential, new Richmond 3.73 Street ring and pinion gearset, and new Moser 30 spline axles with C-Clip Eliminators. This Super Sport has a professionally-built Powerglide transmission (Deep Pan) with new BTE 9" Torque Convertor, B&M flywheel, and Winters Racing Transmission Shifter. The car also features new front springs and complete Cal-Trac Suspension System. The car has new brake rotors, pads and drums with new dual master cylinder/ brake booster, and new steering box, new control arm/body mount bushings, new steel cowl hood/hinges, new front and rear bumpers, new Billet Specialties "Street Lite" 15 inch wheels with tires having less than 100 miles. The car also has many new trim items and new Sunpro Retro Super Tach & Sun Gauges (in addition to factory tach in speedometer bezel). The original Super Sport Hood and console with factory gages also go with the car. Love this car, but owner is 68 years old and has had 4 back surgeries in the last 2 years. Also, owner has a new project (1966 Chevrolet Super Sport Chevelle). Owner has invested between 35 and 40 thousand dollars in the Nova.
