Owner: One owner, non-smoker, primary used car for driving to and from work -- approximately 45 miles per day, primarily highway miles. Purchased December, 2001 and used regularly until August 2015 when a new car was purchased. Maintenance: Car was originally maintained by dealer during warranty period and several years afterwards. Now use a local mechanic for the past 5 years. Overall Condition: The car is 13 years old and has 169,660 miles on it as of February 24, 2016. The car still looks good on the exterior and interior -- but you can form your own opinion from the pictures attached. The car is drivable but needs some maintenance and repairs, that I will describe below: 1. The car will need new front brakes and rotors. 2. There is a leak in the rack and pinion steering. I've lived with this for awhile and manage it by adding power steering fluid every month or two. 3. Air conditioning/Heating has diminished over the summer. Every few years I need to thoroughly flush and refill the cooling/heating system to remove sediment, etc. This restores the air conditioning and heating to normal. The air conditioning may also need to be recharged. 4. Engine check light recently came on. The car passed its last emissions test on 12/19/14 at 162000 miles. 5. I routinely check/add oil and coolant every month or two. 6. Tires have 58,064 miles on them. Body condition: 1. Good except for minor scratches and dings, minor rust on corner of driver door, minor body damage on right front quarter panel from bumping a post. See pictures. 2. The plastic engine cover under the engine compartment needs to be attached more securely with nuts and bolts. It came loose as a result of bumping a post. Interior condition: 1. Very good, clean, except for minor salt stains in the carpet and minor cracks/tears in the seats. Clean trunk. Other: 1. Remote control key fob will lock and unlock all doors except for the driver side door. The physical key is required to open the driver side door. Accessories: 1. The car comes with a roof mounted bike rack for two bikes and a ski mount. The rack is lockable to the car and locks the bikes and skis to the car. 2. The car also comes with 2 sets of car mats: one heavy duty set for wintertime and standard mats for 3 season use. Test drive/inspection is available before offer acceptance with advance notice.
