1971 Triumph T100C

When I got this bike, it had low pipes. The correct pipes were long gone. These are sourced from another 71, but the brackets don't match the parts book. The mufflers are correct. The transmission is a wide ratio, but I have a close ratio transmission available. The headlight is from an earlier 650, but I have the small correct light. The taillight/plate holder is pre-65 vintage, and I have the correct one. The breather has been upgraded. The ignition switch has been hidden, a tachometer has been added. The regulator is electronic. All these mods were done when I changed to the black/gold body work. All the correct pieces are here. The black/gold tank has a leak, and needs to be sealed and re painted. The black/gold fenders are fine. I have a box or two of spare items, like turn signals, points, bulbs, miscellaneous stuff. The wheels have been powder coated, the spokes painted. An external oil filter has been added. The low pipes are no longer available. The brake shoes are relatively new, and stop well. The chain is just three years old, with plenty of adjustment left. The tires are Dunlop copies, and hold the road remarkably well. The bike is being sold as is, where is. There is no warranty, either expressed, or implied.All transportation is the buyers responsibility. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the close of the auction. PayPal is acceptable for the deposit. Remaining funds must be either cash, or certified check, and received within seven days. Bike, and paperwork shall remain in my possession until all funds have cleared, and are in my account. The motorcycle is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. Once a qualifying bid has been made, the local sale will terminate. I would really like to keep this one, but we are moving soon, and there is just no room to keep them all.
