1979 Lincoln Continental 4 Door The Great: Totally new long block 6.6L 400ci Ford engine installed less than 1000 miles ago with full documentation. Runs absolutely perfect All accessories/tune up items replaced - alternator, power steering pump, water pump, starter, hoses, distributor, plugs, wires, etc Mechanically in great shape, transmission shifts strong Brakes redone and it stops on a dime New batteryClean Title The Good: Body and paint are in mostly good condition with some minor rust bubbles here and there Solid undercarriage Interior is in good condition for a 37 year old car Tires have 50% tread and are in good shape Headlight doors open and close as they should Cruise control works4 new speakers and new head unit installed Needed improvements: All 4 windows do work, but some motors could use a rebuild, as they are either slow or need help going up Carburetor needs a tune-up Power locks are frozen, everything does lock manually. Can hear the motor trying to work. Front passenger seat switch no contact (motor good) A/C (R-12) was drained when the motor swap occurred. It DID blow cold prior to being drained so the compressor is good. Power antenna stuck in ‘up’ position. Some wear on the steering wheelClock doesn't work With that said, I have no issues driving this car anywhere. Currently use it for long drives without any worry. It’s not perfect, it’s almost 40 years old and the pictures reflect some of the wear. I have no idea of the actual mileage. Odometer says 70000, it could be accurate but I have no way to know for sure. Take a look at the pictures for an honest representation and ask any questions before bidding.
