DIESEL BENZ !!! Hi All - Yes I have decided to start this auction at only 1 cent ... with NO RESERVE NO RES NR !!! Please read the ad in full. This 1997 Mercedes Benz DIESEL 300 series (e300d) is actually a fairly rare car I think. I do see one on eBay here for $12995 and another fellow selling just the motor by itself (not the whole car) with way more miles for $1995. So someone will be snagging a deal here. She's silver with grey interior and has some scratches, some paint fade and blems and was from a northern climate and does show the rust signs of having a colder weather existence. Oddly enough she was traded in to a new car dealership in sunny Arizona, and we acquired her. Please read the condition description and the fact that it's not my personal driving vehicle. We have the title in hand. Power windows, locks, two sets of keys, ADEQ inspection certificate (the emissions inspection program necessitated to get a license plate in the metro Phoenix AZ area, so i DO HAVE the DC in hand, so that's always a big plus). So as noted in the condition description my wife said it shifted funny while she was driving one day. I drove it afterwards and could not replicate it, and the mechanic drove it too, still he found nothing of note. But my wife is credible, so please note that whatever this car needs, you will be the one fixing it at your expense. I am obviously not hiding anything here, my track record is great on eBay (see the feedback rating) and also i am starting the auction at ONE PENNY, definitely not pulling the wool over anyone eyes here and with no reserve and a one cent starting price auction, this is a true bargain. So if the tranny needs fixing or repaired, it too is going to be your expense, if anything needs a going over, it's your expense. This is an As-Is sale, with no implied warranty and no expressed warranty. I decided to again drive this Mercedes diesel again today and enjoyed the ride immensely, but off she goes to the high bidder. I had no troubles today, it was enjoyable. I love hearing the diesel motor and this one sounds NICE plus the diesel fuel economy of these cars is excellent. This Mercedes has an upgraded Clarion stereo featuring digital display, CD and other features too. This Benz model has the power headrests and memory seats, and cruise control, plus all the power windows and moonroof are working too. Air conditioning blows cold. Please have the car shipped, my concern is if the trans acts up on you during a long road trip. I want you to prudent and safe. Please have the car shipped to your home state. You can tell the car carrier transport company that this car absolutely does run and drive (they ask that question on the request for picking it up). By the way I am not an exporter, but I do have this Mercedes titled in my dealership name (this was a trade in at a new car dealership, then I purchased her under my dealers license), so dealer type basic paperwork will be over-nighted to you to sign and return to me after payment is received. The buyer pays 9.2 % sales tax if you do not use a transport service. Once again, please use a car hauling transport company (vehicle carrier). I do not have to charge sales tax here if a licensed car hauler company picks the car up and delivers it to you. You still might be assessed taxes in your home state though, you may want to check on that prior to bidding. You are responsible for any taxes. Please be kind, and only bid if you genuinely are going to pay and are in agreement with the ad. Look at my track record (feedback rating) you will obviously get your vehicle. I have been on eBay since the 1990's! I will try and accommodate your PRE-BID inspection. Please make no demands after bidding. Buyer will pay for shipment of the car. Please pay for the car within 3 days and have her picked up within 10 days. Thanks for understanding, this is vital. Sorry, but the car will not be leaving until your payment clears my bank and the dealer paperwork you signed gets back to me. Sorry, I do not take Credit cards. So remember... some scratches, some paint fade, rear bumper wavy, some rusty spots, and wife said trans shifted funny while driving. I'm obviously trying to be fair here.
