2002 Volkswagen Beetle TDI (DIESEL) with rebuilt title. Drives very nice,shifts gears perfectly, and rides smoothly. Car has new tires and wears evenly, no alignment problems. Beetle is fully loaded and all electronics accessories function properly. Heated seats work great. Timing belt was replaced at 100k. Diesel engine does not knock, or burn oil. Brakes are in good condition and work well. Recently replaced AC Compressor, alternator and new headlights to replace old foggy ones. Some other items I've replaced along the way are power window motors, and windshield wiper motor. Replaced seats and door panels are out of newer year model Beetle Turbo interior a couple years ago. Seats are much nicer than original. No cracks or tears. The orange in seats are slightly faded. Originally bought this car with very low miles out of Miami with a salvage title for my company car. I put over 100k miles on it before buying it from the company for my wife. On the highway it averages 45 to 52 mpg depending on how you drive. This is a nice car that has been very reliable for me and still has a lot of life left in it. Before purchasing the car it was involved in an accident that caused deployment of both airbags. The front bumper cover is slightly off from the accident but it does not effect how it drives. It does cause headlights to not fit perfectly flush and the hood to be difficult to shut. It isn't very noticeable. Also, the plastic cover over the battery that the small fuse box snaps to is not there but still works fine. Airbag light is on. I have had the drivers airbag and passenger airbag replaced about 5 years back. Not sure why light is on now. I have tried my best to be overly descriptive in critiquing my car. It is a nice looking car and mechanically everything is sound. I would be confident driving this vehicle anywhere. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 252-230-7558.
