2003 VW Jetta GLS Mark IV TDI Sedan This has been my daily commuter car and has never let me down.I have owned this car since 2008 and purchased it with about 89,000 miles on it.Never been in an accident and the vehicle history shows none before I bought it.5 Speed Manual transmission239,000 miles (Timing Belt replaced at 175,000 miles)Exterior: WhiteInterior: Tan cloth (Sorry pretty stained and dirty)Power WindowsPower locksFull size spare tire.AC and Heat are excellentRemote lock and unlock with key fobIncludes 2 keys with remote fobsAlpine AM/FM Stereo with the Sirius Satellite module.New rear brakesFront brakes less than a year old.New Lower control arm BushingsNew Lower Ball jointsRecent MAF and MAP Sensors replacedHad the software EGR Delete Performance Modification (Lots of pickup and cost me over $400)Battery is about a year old.Front Tires have about 80% tread left on them.Rear Tires have about 60% tread left on them.Oil changed regularly. Future Needs and the negative stuff: (Full Disclosure)Starting to see a little diesel smoke when it first starts.Heated mirrors work, the driver’s side has a crack in the plastic and the passenger mirror is taped on. (Was eyeing a brand new set of mirrors on eBay for $65 with free shipping. Item # 130988611073)Timing belt has about 25-30k leftClutch has been getting harder to shift will need replacement soon.Needs front end alignment since the new ball joints and bushings were just replaced.Little rusting on the front left and right fenders above the front tires, otherwise the rest of the car is in decent condition. (I sprayed white spray paint to slow down the rusting)(I found out about the 12 year VW front fender rust warranty in October last year about 2 months after it expired)Has some paint chips and other minor imperfections.The tan interior is stained (Worst color for a car in my opinion) Needs floor mats as the old ones fell apart.
