Thank you for viewing the listing for my 1997 Chevy 3500 4 X 4 pickup. I have owned this truck for the last 2 years and bought it from the original owner who is a good friend of mine. Yesterday the engine spun a bearing and needs rebuild or replacement. Otherwise it is in good overall condition. It is equipped with an 8 foot Myers angle plow setup that works great. (joystick in cab). It has been well maintained, inspected, and driven regularly. 4 X 4 works as it should. Trans functions properly. Tires are good, brakes are good, heat and AC work. Steers correct and drives smoothly. Being a 3500 it is a workhorse and until yesterday has always done whatever I needed. That being said I cannot afford to replace the engine so I am selling it for what I can get through this auction. I am purchasing a cheap F150 from a friend next week as it is necessary that I have a truck at all times to manage properties for my clients. This is a no reserve auction with a low $500 starting bid. I have well over $6000 invested in this truck and whoever wins it can either replace (or rebuild) the engine and have a great workhorse that can plow the heaviest of snow. It can also be a great source of parts that offers a killer plow set up. I hate to see it go but have no other option at this time. This 3500 has always been well cared for.
