A Truly Magnificent example of a very original 1987 Mercedes 300SDL with only 95,735 Actual highway driven miles. This 300SDL was purchased new in Nashville, Tennessee and sold 6 months later with 3580 miles on it to the next owner of 29 years. It was always garage kept, never smoked in and meticulously maintained. He owned many vehicles and used this one mainly for highway trips and often mentioned it was his favorite. It was Always serviced by Mercedes and anything that needed attention was immediately addressed. It comes with a folder of Mercedes service history starting from 1987. The original and current title is also from 1987. It was just serviced which included an oil change using Shell Rotella T6 fully synthetic oil and filter and four brand new Dunlop SP Sport 600 tires. Everything works as new including ice cold A/C, all power windows, locks, seats, sunroof, mirrors, original Becker stereo/tape and power antenna. All instrument gauges are also working properly with the exception of the clock. The 3.0 liter 6 Cylinder starts quickly and idles smoothly. It drives down the road super smooth and comfortable with no rattles or vibrations.It accelerates swiftly and shifts flawlessly through all gears. Brakes feel great as well with no pulling, squeals or pulsation. This SDL has never been involved in any accidents and comes with a perfectly clean carfax report which is available upon request. The mostly original silver metallic paint has a deep showroom finish with very few imperfections present. Only minor stone chips or light scratches from highway use. All of the chrome shines like new with no oxidation. This car was really pampered and it shows.. The interior is as exceptional as the exterior. It looks like new or as if it had 15,000 miles. It had quality sheepskin front seat covers on it its entire life. There's not a blemish on the original leather and the back seats look the same as do the carpets, door panels, headliner and dash. Even the interior door post/ seat belt retractor vinyl remains intact and the seat back elastic nets still tight. Sunvisor vanity mirrors are also perfect. A dealer installed K40 radar detector is mounted above the center sunvisor and still works! BHMA cup holders were correctly door panel mounted and are like new. In the trunk is the Original and Unused full spare wheel and tire and Unopened factory sealed tool kit! The original cooling system hang tag is still attached to the radiator as well. Brand new Coco mats were just installed to perfect the classic European motoring touch. Included with the sale is the original title dating from 1987, original Bill of sale when sold new in 1987, complete and original owners manuals, complete Mercedes service history, sheepskin seat covers, original carpeted floor mats, original keys, oem fuel filters and serpentine belt.
