Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1973 Dodge Charger. We started this a project with with my son , who quickly lost patience and we are out of time. The car is 90% stripped to bare metal. The right front fender, the top and part of the drivers door is all that is left on the body to be stripped. The interior is out of the car but we have it all in the shop. The car has dark green interior. The engine compartment was stripped, primed and painted lime green (which is the color we were going to paint the car) so it is done with the exception of an area below the brake booster that still needs attention. The car has rust in the normal areas, lower quarter panels in front of and behind the rear tire, it has some above the wheel wells in the back but not bad. It has rust in the rockers on both sides. It a small amount of rust on the lower, rear portion of the doors and lower rear portion of the front fenders. I installed a new floor pan on the drivers side and the passenger side will need done as well. The trunk is solid, the frame rails are solid with the exception of a small spot on the front left rail that will need patched. It will not require complete replacement. The engine for this car is the a BB 400 and I believe it to be the original engine. It is freshly rebuilt to stock specs except the cam. The cam is a mild RV cam. It has never been ran since rebuild. I also have a fresh automatic tranny and new torque converter as well that goes. The car is overall in good shape for its age and is definitely worth restoring. The 73 comes with its own parts car, a 1974 Dodge Charger SE. The 74 has more extensive rust damage and is not worth saving in my opinion. It is a complete car with a SB 360 and tranny. It has black interior which we were going put in the 73.The bidder takes both cars and all items mentioned for the price.Any questions answered and I can send more pics if needed.
