Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500hd 2wd LT1 Crew Cab pickup. I am the 2nd owner. 1st owner put just over 200,000 on it. I bought it in Texas in June 2012 and it now has 371,000 on it. It's been a great truck. I'm only selling to make room for another truck I bought. This isn't a strippo cheap crank window truck this is the LT1 package. All power heated mirror with turn signals in the glass, fog lights etc. For how cheap I'm listing it for if it doesn't sell I'm going to just keep it around as an extra vehicle. It's very reliable and has no major issues. Only flaws I know of are of the is minor 1" crack in dash as shown in pictures, cruise control won't always set, the light is on, on the steering wheel like it has power but most of the time lately it won't engage. The passenger front fender is dented and should be replaced. Passenger front bumper cover plastic chrome cap has some scratches on It. The passenger front door is dented but could be repaired as its only slightly dented beyond the deep scratch in the paint, the grille has a few minor cracks and the chrome is bubled in a few spots. Rear tires have about 5,000 miles before they need replacing, front ones are about 1/2 tread remaining and the alignment is perfect as I took pictures to show that. I had the truck aligned a few months ago. The brakes have about 70% of pad life on all 4 corners of the disc breaks. Parking brake still works well. I spent about $2600 or so replacing the injection pump about 15,000 miles ago at the Chevy dealer. I religiously change the oil every 4,000 miles or earlier. I installed a quick release drain plug so you don't need a wrench with how often I change it I figured it makes life easier! The truck runs and drives excellent and the transmission 6 speed Allison shifts smooth like a new truck yet. Nothing is leaking it's always clean and dry on the ground under the truck. No abnormal noises or vibrations or issues. I have a 5th wheel hitch installed that is a quick detach by pins. I have it in its current position so you can tow a gooseneck with it on the truck. There is a B&W gooseneck ball with quick turnover lever in the flatbed. Bumper has factory gm 2 1/2" reciver with a heavy duty tri ball hitch. CB under dash with magnetic antenna mount on the flatbed. Truck originally had a pickup box (I no longer have it) it's plug and play utilizing the factory wire plug if you wanted to unbolt the bed and install a factory box. I put in a underseat tool box under the rear crew cab seat, Xm radio has a current subscription as well as the on star system. Blue tooth hook up is included with the truck as well as the Magellan gps unit. Edge juice with attitude chip is included and works well for increased power and mpg. The personal items in the glove box, door panels and rear seat tool box aren't included but everything else in the pictures are. Cold Ac and hot heat. All power windows and locks work. I had replaced the driver master switch a few months back at the dealer. Truck is equipped with the DIC driver information center that has a bunch of extra things you can see like fuel filter life, oil life, tire pressures on each wheel, etc. factory center caps have a few lug nut covers that won't tighten up all the way so I have the 4 caps included just not on the aluminum rims. Original window sticker was $42,000. Owners manuals and both keys and keyless entry remotes are there. Interior is very clean it has no tears in the seats or burns. Never been smoked in. Carpet is very clean as well. Next to gas pedal there is a minor boot hole in the carpet from the mileage of the truck. Windshield has some chips here and there it's the original gm glass. Top edge of hood above grille has rock chips also. 2 interstate batteries in truck are about a year old, I had only driven this in Wisconsin one winter otherwise it's been a Texas truck, I have a clean Wisconsin title in hand. Truck is in Lufkin Texas, you can fly into dallas or Houston airport and I'll pick you up for a $150 fee. Uship.com might get this shipped for $300-$700 to most locations. $500 non refundable deposit due on PayPal within 48 hours of auction close, full payment due in 7 days. Feel free to come by and test drive and inspect the truck. The mileage may go up a bit as a drive it still. Review my feedback and bid with confidence on this nice Duramax pickup. Don't let the mileage fool you these trucks run very long. Some trucks hit 1 million miles. Google million mile Duramax and you will see. Thanks and good luck bidding.
