The vehicle currently has 65,090 miles and was removed from service in Jan 2016 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The tires have approximately 60 - 70% tread remaining. It currently has an open recall (R25 / NHTSA 15V-313) of which we contacted the local Dodge dealer for repairs & were informed parts were not currently available. The vehicle has the check engine light illuminated. No diagnosis has been made as to the cause, however the vehicle appears to be running smoothly. The vehicle has hail damage present on multiple body panels that occurred in mid-2015, which was not repaired due to the vehicle being near the end of its fleet service life. The exterior is in fair condition. The hood has multiple dents from hail damage. The front bumper & grill have rock chips & dings present. The roof has multiple dents from hail damage. The driver door has one paint chip present. The driver door exterior mirror has two (2) holes present from where emergency lighting was previously installed. The driver side rear quarter panel has rust/corrosion present at the lower edge where it meets the rear bumper. The trunk has two plugged holes present from where emergency radio anternnas were previously mounted & multiple dents from hail damage. The passenger side rear quarter panel has a couple dents from hail damage & some minor light scratches present. The passenger side rear door has some light dings present. The passenger side front door has some light dings present. The passenger side front fender has some light scratches present. The exterior spotlight is also not working. The interior is in good condition. There are two small screw holes present at the front center edge of the headliner from where an emergency light was previously mounted. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Dec 2015 at 64,134 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In June 2015, at 60,954 miles, both wiper blades were replaced. In Apr 2015, at 59,449 miles, one oxygen sensor was replaced. In Oct 2014, at 56,750 miles, all four tires were replaced. In Jun 2014, at 54,430 miles, the wiper blades were replaced. In Mar 2014, at 52,718 miles, the battery was replaced. In Sep 2013, at 49,488 miles, both front struts & lower control arms. In July 2012, at 42,145 miles, the vehicle had minor damage to the rear bumper repaired at a local auto body repair facility & the vehicle returned to service as an emergency police vehicle. In Mar 2012, at 39,299 miles, the vehicle had two recalls repairs ( #H37 & L08) completed at the local Dodge dealer. In Sept 2011, at 35,650 miles, the front brake pads & front brake rotors were replaced. In Dec 2010, at 30,126 miles, the wiper blades were replaced. In Sept 2009, at 21,385 miles, the outer tie rod ends & all four tires were replaced. The vehicle also had an alignment performed. In May 2009, at 19,327 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. In Nov 2008, at 15,337 miles, the vehicle had a transmission leak repaired under warranty at the local Dodge dealer. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
